The value in the boat is that it is so original it captures a snapshot in time. A time when pleasure boating was sweeping the nation.

Hull
This boat appears as original. With its lemon-yellow hull sides and red-brown stained sheer and deck, its a beauty! According to the seller its also completely original so the keel/bottom would need to be soaked up.
Interior
The interior of these boats is spartan by design, which is part of their beauty. They are elegant in their simplicity. The wood grain shows though but could probably use a scuff with some low grit sand paper and a few coats of varnish. It can be used as is. The interior cushions are original
Mechanical
The engine on this boat is a 1962 75hp Johnson. It is thought to be original to the boat as is the 1961 Gator single axle trailer.
Overall
This boat is a wonderful testimony to originally. Thompson boats are known for their smooth ride and rough water ability.
