1956 18' Jafco
Vintage Bros Boat Sales is happy to present this very interesting and unusual find! It has some interesting features that are uncommon to lapstrake boats built in this era!
The value in this boat is that it's rare. An enthusiast could theoretically go to boat shows for years and not see another one, and certainly not one in this condition.

HULL
The hull on this boat is a combination lapstrake (hullsides) and carvel planked (bottom). It has a lot of freeboard for an 18' boat and looks like it would be a natural in moderate chop. The sides are painted white with a traditional dark blue sheer, and it's just beautiful! The decks and interior are finished bright and are warm to the eye.
INTERIOR
The interior is spartan but classic, with lots of wood and a meager bit of upholstery. Very classy.
MECHANICAL
This vessel is powered by a completely rebuilt Gray Marine flathead 6. These are good running motors that produce a lot of tork to push things along. Of course, the burble of the exhaust is intoxicating! A trailer is available.

Once these things are completed to the buyer's satisfaction the sale becomes final. It is the buyers right to waive all inspections.
