Vintage Bros Boat Sales is thrilled to offer for sale this beautiful 1956 16' Century Resorter. Pampered and professionally maintained for decades, this boat does not disappoint. HD 56 535 is the 486th example made that year.

At Vintage Bros we are antique and classic boat enthusiasts first and boat brokers second. We love connecting buyers and sellers and would be delighted to own any of the boats we sell.

HULL

The finish on this boat was done a few years back but presents beautifully. The african mahogany gleams and the wood grain shows through. The deck seams were done in 2022 and the hardware was re-chromed in 2001. This boat received a no-soak 3M 5200 bottom so using it is a breeze!

INTERIOR

The interior is stricking and was replaced in 2014. Century red is not technically a color, but everyone in the know understands what you mean when you refer to it that way! The steering wheel is gorgeous and the gauges (rebuilt in 2001) are clear and present as new.

MECHANICAL

The boat is amply powered by a 6 cylinder, 135hp flat-head Gray Marine. This engine was rebuilt sometime back but recently had the head reconditioned by Van Ness (2024) and had the carburetors rebuilt by Reeves Engineering (2022). The engine purrs.

TRAILER

The trailer is a 2014 single axle C-Hawk with an adjustable bow stop for ease of use at the boat ramp. It was built for this boat and fits the hull like a glove.

OVERALL

This boat has been well cared for it's entire life. It's a wonderful through back to a much simpler time. Don't miss out call Jim at 513 678 9379.
