Hull
The hull on this boat is in great condition. A double layer 3M5200 no soak bottom was installed by Cadillac Boat Shop in 2006. The almost all original hull sides gorgeous with tight plank seams and proper Century stain applied.. Three coat of varnish were applied to the hull sides in 2019 and two coats to the deck in 2018.
Interior
It's hard to believe that most of the interior is original to the boat! The lower seat cushions have been replaced, and when they were, they were matched perfectly. The floor has been replaced with an exact duplicate of what the boat left the factory with in 1955. The steering wheel shows in excellent original condition, and the gauges are as crisp and clear as they were in 1955.
Mechanical
This boat is powered by it's original Gray Marine 115 hp flathead 6 cylinder. The motor starts easily and runs like a swiss clock. It is powerful and smooth and is suitable for watersports. Century boats were the preferred tow boat of the national waterskiing association in this era. This boat is powerful and maneuverable. The trailer is a period correct dual axle Moody. Its V bunks cradle the hull giving good support.
Overview
