Vintage Bros Boat Sales is excited and thrilled to offer this beautiful piece of pleasure boat history for sale. This boat is spectacular: in person it is simply breathtaking.
The value in this offering has a number of facets. 1.) It is the last boat restored
by legendary boat restorer Don Danenberg. 2.) It is an early boat in the production run (hull number 48510 is the 11th boat made in the series spanning 48500 to 48932) 3.) It is a single piece covering board boat. 4.) It comes with lots of documentation.

Hull
According to the seller this boat is a preservation restoration. The hull sides and deck are original to the boat. When restored even the panhead screws that drew the bottom planks up to the inner bottom were re-installed. Super authentic. Of course the bottom is a Danenberg 3M 5200 no soak bottom and can go in the water dry. Both the hull side planking and the deck planking show highly figured wood grain and are dead tight with no open seams. This boat is an absolute feast for the eyes. It's the nicest 19' barrel I've ever seen.
Interior
The interior was redone with an eye toward authenticity. Kapok was used for the cushion filling. The fabric used for the seat backs is authentic as was possible to obtain. The steering wheel was resorted and is a beautiful marble unit. The gauges were also restored and show beautifully.
Mechanical
The boat left the factory with the same 'K' series 95 hp Hercules engine that's in it now. The motor has been rebuilt and runs like a clock. It delivers good power and sounds magnificent. The trailer is a custom dual-axle unit made for the boat
Overview
