It's with excitement and pride that Vintage Bros Boat Sales offers for sale this beautiful 1936 18' per-war Chris Craft! Hull #33184 is the 185th boat made of 208 total units in this model series produced between 1934-1936. It's restored and ready to be entered at the local antique boat show, this beautiful boat is ready to go!

The value in this boat is in the restoration. It would cost at least double the asking price if a restoration shop were paid to do what's been done to this boat.

At Vintage Bros we are antique and classic boat enthusiasts first and boat brokers second.  We love what we do and enjoy connecting buyers and sellers who love the hobby as much as we do. We would proudly own any ofbthe boats we sell.

HULL

The hull underwent an extensive restoration which included rechroming of hardware. According to the seller the original bottom was replaced with a 3M 5200 bottom in 2005. At this point the hull was stripped and refinished in original style Chis Craft red stain with walnut stained covering boards and king plank. 15 coats of varnish were applied. The grain of the planks shows through beautifully, it's a knock-out!

INTERIOR

The red interior was relaced in 2006 and shows no visable rips or tears. The gauge faces are clear, and easy to read. The three spoke pre-war steering wheel is in good shape and is thought to be original to the boat.

MECHANICALLY

The original engine was replaced with a later 'K' series engine. This power plant produces 95 hp and even though is not original, is very well suited to this boat. The electrical system has been converted to 12 volt. It runs good and has been professionally maintained. The boat comes with a single axle trailer that was made for this boat in 2006.
