Vintage Bros Boat Sales is extremely proud to offer for sale this gorgeous, classic mahogany Resorter. The seller describes it as 'turn-key and ready to go'.

According to the Century Boat Club only 101 were ever produced in 1962. Only God knows how many have survived.

At Vintage Bros we are antique and classic boat enthusiasts first and boat brokers second. We love what we do and enjoy connecting buyers and sellers together in boats we too would love to own!

HULL

This boat is a nice, well cared for, original.  Somewhere along the line the bottom was fiberglassed. This boat was purchased by the current owner from an owner in California. The arid climate there is friendly toward this method as well as to West System bottoms. The hull-side planks are tight, beautifully grained and present well. The finish is user quality and might do well with a scuff, and a coat or two of varnish.

INTERIOR

The interior is in great condition and replicates the original look very well. The steering wheel and gauges are in wonderful condition with the gauge faces clear and easy to read. There is room for you and 5 of your closest friends in this classic ski machine.

MECHANICAL

This boat is powered with a 170 hp Gray Marine V-8. This American Motors engine was an extremely popular engine in this hull and also many other brands. It was recently rebuilt by Van Ness Engineering. It purrs like a kitten, and roars like a lion! The trailer is a single axle built for the boat by DHM Trailers and fits like a glove.

OVERALL

This is a boat that is ready to go in the water and provide years of enjoyment, and that's where the value lies. Add to that the professionally rebuilt engine and modern custom fitted trailer and you have an unbeatable value. Call Jim at 513 678 9379.
