Vintage Bros Boat Sales is extremely proud to offer this beautiful boat. The value in this boat is in its rarity as an early outdrive concept. Looking at the design you can see what they had in mind; 4 stroke engine power with the low speed maneuverability of an out board. According to the Century Boat Club 208 were produced. It's a 'must have for any Century Collector.

At Vintage Bros we are classic boat enthusiasts first and boat brokers second.  We love what we do and would be proud to own any of the boats we sell!

HULL

The bottom is original and according to the seller is in excellent condition only requiring a minimum of soak up time. The hull sides are in good shape and may need a coat of varnish in the next year or two. The grain of the wood is deep and clear and shows beautifully.  A few years ago the seller stripped the bottom and repainted with hard racing bronze.

INTERIOR

The interior was replaced a few years back and shows beautifully.  It has no rips or tears, is not faded,  and looks like it's new. The steering wheel and dash are sleek and smart and the contrast in colors between the hull and interior is quite striking.

MECHANICAL

The boat is powered by the Fageol V.I.P. (Vertical Inboard Propultion) system. The system is comprised of a Crosley engine,  mounted on end inside an engine bay with an outboard style lower unit coming out of the keel at the bottom of the boat. This design preceeded the outdrive system we enjoy today by a few years. The engine runs smoothly and will get attention where ever it's seen! The trailer is a single-axle unit that presents well as it is painted to match the interior.

OVERVIEW

This boat is very kitchy-cool. Not many are seen at boat shows so it would garner quite alot of interest. It's a must have for the discriminating Century collector. Call Jim at 513 678 9379.
