1955 20' Chris Craft Holiday priced at $19,900
All info gleaned from the seller in writing and conversation.
Vintage Bros Boat sale is proud to offer this beautiful, fully restored, piece of mid- century excellence! Much less common than it's little brother the 18' Holiday, Chris Craft only produced 143 of the 20' Holiday from 1955-57.
It's well restored making it an excellent value. Not many 20's are left in the Antique/Classic boat market place.
At Vintage Bros we are classic boat enthusiasts first and boat brokers second. We love selling boats we too would live to own.
Hull
The bottom on this boat has been replaced with a no soak west system bottom in the late 90's and has had limited use since. Around that time the hull was refinished and tastefully modified with walnut stained covering boards.
Interior
The interior of this boat is has been replaced in a beautiful burgundy. It coordinates well with the stain colors. The steering wheel is in good condition and the gauges are clear and easy to read.
Mechanical
This boat is powered by a 'KL' series engine making 105 hp. According to the seller it was rebuilt in 2006. She is torquey with plenty powerful for a cocktail cruise. This boat has been out of the water for a number of years so plan on all the usual suspects; clean the fuel tank and the fuel lines, rebuild the carburetor and change the spark plugs. The trailer is a dual axle galvanized unit that is road worthy and supports the boat well.
Overview
The 20' Chris Craft Holiday is a rare piece with only 143 produced from 1955-57. This looks to be a great starting point for someone to put a little elbow grease in and come out with a super uncommon classic. Please call Jim at 513 678 9379..
