Vintage Bros. Boat Sales is very proud to offer for sale this beautiful 1954 Chris-Craft 20’ Sportsman. This boat is a turnkey in every way. Its roomy and comfortable, and does everything well.
Fully restored, it represents the utility that embodied the Sportsman line through the 1950's.

Bottom of this boat was replaced in the 5200 method with frames, keel and chines replaced as needed. Marine-grade plywood was used for the inner liner and the original outer planks were in spectacular condition so were cleaned, sealed, and reused. The boat needs no soak up can go in the water dry. The hull sides have been refinished in original Chris-Craft stain with many coats of varnish and are beautiful.
The interior is as original. The red vinyl is supple to the touch with no tears, rips, or abnormal wear. The gauge faces are clear, and the steering wheel appears as new with no cracks or unsightly damage.
This boat is powered by its original MBL Hercules Flathead 6. The motor runs smoothly, , performs well, and moves this light weight hull right along! It has received regular care and maintenance.
This boat is beautiful and easy to use. Its reliable, a great performer and can go in the water dry with no soak up. Hull # SS-20-113 Is one of 194 made in the 1953- 1954 model years. These boats are much less common than their 17' cousins as such are much more desirable

Once these things are completed to the buyer's satisfaction the sale becomes final. It is the buyers right to waive all inspections. If a buyer choose to go this route they bare full responsibility for the choice made regarding the condition of the boat.
