Vintage Brothers boat sales is very excited to offer for sale this stunning Chris Craft Racing Runabout. Hull number R-19-260 was produced in 1950 and is a beautiful, fully restored example of the mark This boat was professionally restored with a high attention to detail as evidenced by the photos. It represents a remarkable value in a very iconic model of post-war Chris-Craft. At Vintage Bros we are enthusiasts first and boat brokers second. Our goal is to offer the highest quality antique and classic boats for sale on the market today. We hand-select every boat we offer to the marketplace. Hull A no-soak bottom was installed on this boat during restoration. As you can see with from the photos, the hull sides gleam. The Philippine mahogany, which was used on later models in the production run, is highly figured. The plank seems are tight with no visible gaps, as are the deck planks of this boat. The pictures simply don't do it justice. Interior During a time of restoration the interior was also replaced. Red was a common interior color on the Racing Runabouts. The steering wheel and the gauges all look extremely fresh. The gauges are clear with no hint of any corrosion and the throttle on the steering wheel is tight and easy to use. Mechanical The original MBL Hercules engine was rebuilt and provides plenty of horsepower for this boat to get on down the river! Chris-Craft rated the top speed of this vessel at 44 MPH. Like many modern speed boats, as you increase speed the nose drops and the boat runs flatter and flatter on the water. This boat is being sold with a single axle trailer. It is highly functional and roadworthy. Overview Easy Daisy is it extremely good value. This boat was restored to a level of restoration much higher than it left the factory with. It's a showstopper and has won awards at antique and classic boat shows. No disappointments here! For any further questions please call Jim at 513-678- 9379.
