Vintage Bros is very proud to introduce this beautiful 1949 Chris Craft Racing Runabout powered by an MBL. This boat is a high-performance blast from the past!

This boat has been restored to a very high standard using a lot of the original Hull side planking as well as deck planking this boat is beautiful and is a great value in the marketplace.

The hull on this boat has been reconditioned with a West system bottom. The hull sides look to be original as the planking is highly figured, quarter-sawn, Philippine mahogany.
All the seams between the planks are tight and this boat is absolutely gorgeous.


The interior has been redone in a beautiful pleated burgundy color, not original, but absolutely stunning and very period correct. The steering wheel is almost blemish-free in the gauges and gauge faces are very clear and easy to read.


This boat is powered by the faithful MBL it makes 158 horsepower and provides more than ample power to move this boat ride along Chris-Craft actually advertise this boat with a 44 mile per hour top speed. The motor runs smoothly and is very powerful for this size hull. The trailer is a dual axle Seahawk with an adjustable bow stop which makes it easy load and easy to tow.


This boat is gorgeous the original Philippine mahogany planking is stunning on this boat. The hull number on this boat is R 19 226 which makes it the 227 hull produced in the sequence of 503 total production.
