It represents a tremendous value in the marketplace. To achieve this level of restoration quality one would need to invest much more money than the asking price.
At Vintage Bros we are enthusiasts first and boat brokers second. We enjoy our work finding new homes for boats we too would love to own!
The lines of this hull are spectacular! Chris Craft's lofting crew really knew what they were doing! The hullside planking is tight and the deck seams are atraight and even. The bottom has been replaced and the seller says it doesn't leak.
The interior color is a deep, rich, burgandy. The gauge faces are detailed and clear. The banjo steering wheel (an option in 1938) is gorgeous! The boat was designed with seating for 6 people.
The engine is a 'K' series unit with approximately 290 hours since the rebuild approximately 10 years ago. The electrical has been converted to 12v and the original generator was traded for an alternator. The trailer is a single axle bunk type with brakes and was bunked for the boat.
This vessel is an unbeatable value. Easy to tow and easy to use, it's a visual throwback to the glory days of inland lake boating. With restoration costs as they are, one would have to spend some multiple of the asking price to get close to the restoration quality of this boat. Please call Jim at 513 678 9379.
